FUNDRAISER RUNDOWN
Band Backers will pay to have a friend’s yard “flocked” with pink plastic flamingos and a “I was Flocked by the Marching Grenadiers” sign. A doorhanger explaining the fundraiser and who ordered the flocking is hung on the recipient’s front doorknob. All this is done after dark! Yards stay flocked for 24 hours, until the flamingos and signs are retrieved. Flocking will only be allowed within EGHS boundaries; Elk Grove (east of 53) and a portion of the west side of Des Plaines. Orders may be placed online at www.eghsbandboosters.com
HOW IT WORKS
TEAM RESPONSIBILITIES
When a flocking order is placed for your team’s scheduled night, you will be notified in advance. On that night, after dark (9:15pm ish) teams will:

HOW IT WORKS
- We would like to form at least 10 teams, so that your team will only be scheduled every 10-14 days. Teams can sign up via the website www.eghsbandboosters.com.
- Each team will be made up of 2-4 band members plus a parent or guardian (you need to recruit an adult to be on your team). Please include a cell phone number at sign up.
- If you have a schedule conflict, you can trade nights with another team, but it’s your team’s responsibility to take care of this! Email egbandwebmaster@gmail.com with any changes.
- Each flocking team member should wear EGHS band spirit wear on their scheduled night (band polo, show t-shirt, EG baseball cap).
TEAM RESPONSIBILITIES

- Pick up flamingos/signs/doorhangers at the McCabe’s home
- Retrieve flamingos/signs from yards flocked the night before (if needed)
- Flock assigned yards with flamingos and sign and put doorhanger on front doorknob
- Deliver leftover flamingos/signs back to McCabe home (can be done the next morning if needed)
